General Submission Guidelines
Please review the general submission guidelines below. If your work is selected, we will feature a brief author biography, which may include your social media links and access to your online portfolio. To be best prepared, please have a short biography ready, no longer than 250 words, in the event your submission is chosen for publication.
Non-Fiction and Fiction: Submit one story per submission. Ensure your piece aligns with one or more of the following themes: mid-century design; architecture; interior design, furniture, and decor; preservation efforts; art and culture; travel; real estate; case studies; or historical figures pertaining to any of the above.
Poetry: Up to six poems per submission in a single document. Submissions must be unpublished elsewhere.
Essays and Short-Stories: Personal essays or features up to 2,500 words focusing on any of the subjects mentioned above.
Case Studies: Architectural case studies may include up to 2,000 words and up to ten visual elements, such as photographs, sketches, blueprints, or watercolors. Videography submissions accompanying case studies are also welcome for consideration. Given file size limitations, we recommend providing a link to your digital portfolio and submitting videos via Google Drive for seamless access.
Home Tours: We welcome video submissions showcasing unique home tours of mid-century time capsules, preservation efforts, and similar projects, with up to five videos per submission. Due to file size limitations, we recommend including a link to your digital portfolio and submitting videos via Google Drive for seamless access.
Illustrations: You may submit up to ten drawings, original cartoons, architectural sketches, or interior design water colors per submission.
Additional Submission Considerations
