His early career included a pivotal role at Scentsy, a fragrance company in Meridian, Idaho, where he honed his skills and built a professional network.
In 2020, Rodriguez co-founded Visionkit Studio with Matt Wordell. The studio specializes in still photography, motion video, and creative direction, emphasizing collaboration by inviting clients to co-create visual narratives. Under Rodriguez's creative leadership, Visionkit has developed an impressive portfolio, working with clients such as Fuji, Tumbleweed Bikes, Treefort Music Festival, St. Luke’s Health Center, Aquaculture Stewardship Council, Visit Boise, Duft Watterson, and Kin Boise.
